Hey TUTzens

Colour, Pride & Unity in Motion! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Tshwane University of Technology TUT students came together in a vibrant display of pride, unity and solidarity, taking to the streets to celebrate diversity, raise awareness and champion a more inclusive university community.

With colourful flags, powerful messages and voices united, the walk also provided an opportunity to stand together against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and reaffirm the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone.

Pride is more than a celebration it’s about being seen, heard, respected and valued. 🌈✊🏽

Hey TUTzens!

This evening, the Tshwane University of Technology TUT SAED Directorates, Student Representative Council (SRC), Campus Protection Services (CPS) and students came together in solidarity to honour the victims and survivors of gender-based violence and femicide (GBVF).

The evening was a solemn moment to honour victims, stand with survivors, remember families who have lost loved ones and reaffirm our collective commitment to ending GBVF.

As candles lit the night, they became symbols of remembrance, solidarity, hope and a call for meaningful change. πŸ•―οΈπŸ’œ

The message remains clear: safety is a right, silence is not the answer and creating safer communities is a responsibility we all share.
