A reminder that kindness always wins 💛

Today was one of those days that tested my patience and my faith in people, and in the end it restored it.

I got to the airport early, only to spend hours in a slow security queue. As my flight time got closer, I had to ask to move ahead in the line, which isn't something I'd normally do. Not everyone was understanding and a few not so kind words were directed at me and spoken while I was still in earshot, and despite my best efforts, I still missed my flight.

But that's not where the story ends. Soon after, I met some wonderfully helpful and friendly people who turned a stressful day around. Their patience, warmth and willingness to help reminded me how much a kind word and a friendly smile can lift someone's spirits.

So many people are carrying heavy loads we can't see. Before we judge someone or react in frustration, let's remember that we never know what they're going through. A little patience, a warm greeting or a simple smile could be exactly what they need.

Today reminded me that kindness is never wasted. Let's keep spreading it, one small act at a time, and together we can brighten more days than we realise. 🌻

Be the reason someone smiles today.
