This is my road to fitness. Run with me as I train harder than ever, eat healthier than ever before and discovering the REAL me! After school I gained 25 kg.
I always use to be kind of fit when I was younger, look at what I ate, exercising on a daily basis and then when I finished school I just let myself go! To this day I still have no idea why I did that.. All I know is I WILL NEVER gain weight EVER AGAIN!! Weighing my heaviest - 85kg + I cannot remember the exact weight, but I'm sure it was at least 85kg :(

Hi everyone!! ๐๏ธ
So i started my training at gym yesterday and as usual, i went in with a bang... And today, i am so stiff! I think i broke myself..
I did good with the weight loss last month.. i was on 4.1kg and then i had my birthday party this weekend and it cost me 2.4kg. It just goes to show that 1 weyeken can put you back half a month if you do not watch what you eat and drink.. Nevertheless, my weigh in for Jan is 1.8kg with an overall 84cm loss.
Here is my first progress photos. I am excited for the next set of progress photos, because i know what results i will get with this full on training and clean eating.

Hi all, just a quick updated on my progress... I am on day 8 now since i decided to start my journey and i am down 2.5kg. i have not take. New measurements yet, will do so on Thursday. I have stopped the detox and just continued with healthy eating. Still no carbs and sugars, just steamed veg with proteins. I will start adding healthy carbs as soon as I have joined the gym, so that means, no carbs, no sugars until 4 Feb.

Good morning all,
What a wonderful day it is. Another day that God has woken me up. I am healthy, i have clothes on my body, i have food to eat and i have family and friends who became family who love me very much and I them.
On Monday when I started my weightloss journey, I took my measurements and i thought that I will share that with you, so here goes....
Weight : 74.9kg **Goal:57-60kg
Chest : 91cm
Neck: 33cm
Shoulders: 108cm
Hips: 110cm **Goal:90-93cm
Waist: 80cm. **Goal:65cm
Lower Ab: 96cm
Left and right arm: 33cm.
Left and right thigh: 65cm **Goal:54cm
There you go... A lot of 'gains' hey.. just in the wrong direction ๐คฃ
The goals are what I was pre-baby.
As I post progress pics, i will update the measurements as well, because remember.... Measurements are more important than what the scale tells us.

Hi everyone.
Well, i have been very quiet. A lot has happened since i last posted about exercise and anything about my fitness.
Today a year ago I made a very important decision and I let it get in the way of me eating clean, exercising and just focusing of overall body nutrition. I ate everything and anything, I only exercised when i feel i needed too, not because i wanted too. I had an excuse everytime i started a detox or just thought about the idea of exercise... Last year fitness wise I failed myself. It has cost me 15kg ๐ฎ
Was my decision worth the 15kg? NO!
Did I let go of myself? BIG TIME!
Am I feeling awful about the weight I gained after working so hard so loose it? MOST DEFINITELY!
What am I going to do about it? LET ME TELL YOU....
As of yesterday I made a conscious decision to take back my healthy lifestyle and my fitness. Currently I am on a 10 day detox of which I am now on day 2 and I am still going strong. After the detox until 2 Feb it will be cleaning eating..
๐ No starch
๐ฉ No artificial sugars
๐ฅ No alcohol
๐ No take aways
More water, 2 l plus ๐ฅค
More greens and veg ๐ฅฆ๐ฅ
Healthy carbs ๐ฅ๐
More fruit ๐๐๐๐
Then on the first Monday in Feb I will join a gym, and then the real transformation starts and I have to be honest when i say that I am nervous and excited at the same time.
Getting to the body I had pre-baby will take a bit longer than I had hoped, but my head is in a great space, I am motivated, I am focused and I know that I WILL and CAN do this.
As I said in one of my previous posts... This is my road to fitness. YES, sometimes we get of track but what counts is that we pick ourselves up and do not allow life to get in the way.
I will be posting progress pics. The first pics that I will be posting will be after my 10 day detox - I don't think those ones will have a lot of progress shown as it only detoxes ones body and then just before I start gyming. There on out I will be posting once a month.

Heya friends, here is day 6... day 5 was rest day, but i skipped it because of all my ' rest days' last week.
I have to admot that i am quite sore... feels like i have been lifting weight.

Good evening friends,
Here is my day 3.... i just was not in the mood yesterday, felt bloated and was just not in a good space. Today was no different expect for the bloating, but i figured that i will just go back to using my exercises as my stress relieve and like always ... IT WORKED.
I will not give up! I will finish this and come out stronger!
