Their pain turned into my purpose!

I am Jolandi, the founder of Gesundheit Randfontein. Growing up, I was very familiar with disease as my grandparents were all riddled with cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, dementia, and asbestosis. My developing mind was exposed to discussions about operations, chemotherapy, radiation, palliative care, morphine, pethedine...disease and death. I had an interesting childhood!

In 2015 I witnessed my stepdaughter battle a rare and debilitating auto-immune disease. Even though she miraculously managed to pull her live back together (after numerous doctors told her in no uncertain terms that she will never walk, drive or work again), she still lives with the symptoms every single day. Conventional medicine cannot do anything for her.

In 2016 my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease (although I still believe she was misdiagnosed). My mom...my world...crumbling before my eyes. She passed away in 2019 after an almost 4 year battle. Conventional medicine couldn’t do anything for her.

During this time I also battled with my own declining health. I suffered painful gallstone attacks and doctors wanted to remove my gallbladder. I also suffered from extreme fatigue, depression and pain all over my body. I decided it is time to take responsibility for my health!
