The Salts Spa

Combing the elements Water, Air, Earth and Life ; The Salts Spa will ultimately be your favourite Holistic Salt Therapy treat! Melissa’s Detox bath salts 2013

This is just my story,

My son Alexis (3 years), a beautiful, well spoken, witty, highly intelligent, kind, soft, strong, good and healthy little boy, was not born with the best ability to sleep well maybe due to the fact that he was not a good eater either , he would also easily be influenced by the overload of too many people and noises around him, and a possible change in his routine made him easy irritable ... as he grew the frustration of my mother hart never stopped finding ways to assist him in his challenges. Since then I have become quite the “researcher”, and discovered a new world for him, me and more children. Initially he was on medication for the above mentioned, however it was such a battle to actually get it in him, as my husband likes to say, “Alexis has the sniff-nose of a Basset Hound”....this little boy can smell any smell a mile away! The tantrums, trauma and fighting for both of us, was simply not worth it for me anymore (I am not saying you should not give your children medicine) Please note that I am referring to my OWN life story and how I felt seeing the complete frankness, scorched to the soul in his face, approaching him with a medicine measure and “mutty”. I started making my little bath salt mixes with magnesium salts and a combination of the best pure essential oils. Initially the baths were plain...then we started playing around. Bath time for us has now become like we like to call it, “Adventure baths”.... (Alexis is a real adventurer and has a “thing” for always discovering things, a real boy on a journey for knowledge, searching answers or finding treasures. My kids just love the intimate time we share and talks we have. We play with colours, animals, sounds, shapes, numbers and much more. Never under estimate the healing power skin to skin contact are to children on eye level. I have been using Melissa’s Detox Bath Salts for more than a few months and can honestly say that we have notices considerable changes in both our children. Alexis has gone from a very over active little boy exploding of energy evidently ending in huge tantrums to a very content little boy, without infuriating mood swings he is now able to focus, play and learn more. So Honestly, Alexis did not wake up and started eating one morning...he still battles. But my boy sleeps, I sleep. Needless to say “Melissa' Detox bath salts"...has been a GOLDEN product in my house the last few years, however recently exploring the possible new “Adventures” we could have during bath time. Due to the high demand, I have now started making “Melissa' Detox bath salts for you to use, come and enjoy the adventures with us.
