Matric dance is such a special milestone — one of those nights you’ll remember long after the dress has been put away.

For my 2026 Spring Special, I’m opening a limited number of on-location matric dance makeup bookings for September and October.

My approach is simple: I don’t want to make you look like a different person.

I want to enhance the features you already have, create a makeup look that feels like you using the reference image you have supplied, complement your outfit, and make the process of getting ready part of the experience.

Beautiful skin. Defined features. Makeup that photographs beautifully and lasts through the night – while still letting you be the focus.

For parents, that means having an experienced professional you can trust. I’ve been working as a makeup artist since 2008, across beauty, fashion, production, editorial and special occasion work.

For the girls, it means having your makeup professionally done for one of the most exciting nights of your teenage years – whether you want something soft and natural, a little more glam, or somewhere in between.

After 18 years working across bridal, beauty, fashion, production, editorial and special occasion makeup, I’m bringing MothWorks into a new chapter.

It’s about understanding the face, the brief, the setting and the final image – then knowing what to add, what to leave alone and where the detail matters.

Last April I had the joy of creating the makeup looks and photographing for Gabriela Charlotte’s reimagined saree collection - a celebration of beauty, sustainability, and timeless design.

Each piece was crafted from preloved sarees, transformed into elegant, modern garments. To complement them, I created soft yet striking looks: glowing skin, defined features, and natural hair styling that highlighted both the fabrics and the wearer.

As a makeup artist since 2018, my focus has always been on details - from flawless bridal beauty to creative editorial direction. This project brought together everything I love: artistry, sustainability, and storytelling through a beautiful collaboration.

Bridal Contrast | A Bold Lip in Soft Surroundings

This bridal look plays in contrast - a vibrant, red-toned lip set against luminous skin and barely-there tones elsewhere. The result is equal parts romantic and modern, allowing personality to come forward without overpowering the softness of the gown.

The skin was prepped to glow, with warmth placed through the cheeks and eyes to support the lip without competing with it. Hair was styled simply to echo the structure of the dress - elegant, precise, and quietly confident.

Tania wears a gown by , whose lacework and silhouette offered the perfect canvas for a look that invites both softness and strength.

A Study in Balance: Hair & Makeup for Gabriela Charlotte

Created in collaboration with designer , this shoot explored strength through structure and softness - with sculptural garments that invited a refined, minimal beauty approach.

MothWorks focused on clean, polished skin, defined brows, and tonal details to complement the thoughtful textures and silhouettes. Hair was kept grounded and unfussy - pulled back or left natural to allow the garments to hold presence.

A quiet, considered shoot with an exceptional team behind the lens and in front of it.
