Today we lift up every woman who has ever felt unsafe, unheard, threatened or afraid.
Surround every woman with Your protection. Be her shelter when she feels vulnerable, her strength when she feels weak, and her courage when she feels afraid.
Give women wisdom and discernment to recognise danger, and the courage to walk away and seek help. Place safe people around those who are hurting, people who will believe them, protect them and stand beside them.
Bring healing to the women carrying wounds that no one else can see.
Restore their peace, their confidence and their sense of worth.
Soften the hearts of those who choose violence. Teach our communities to protect rather than harm, to listen rather than silence, and to stand up rather than look away.
Lord, let every woman know that she deserves to feel safe. She deserves respect. She deserves to live without fear.
Protect our mothers, daughters, sisters and friends. May justice prevail, may violence end, and may every woman find the courage and support to seek help when she needs it.
