✨ The other weekend in August, we had such a fulfilling time at the last SUMMIT. It was truly a blessing for me and the team to be part of it.

I know it’s already September, but I feel this post is timely - because this is plowing and planting season. And for me, it’s a reminder that every seed sown in purpose will grow in its season🌱

I carry with me the words of Nomndeni : “Abundance is not a thing that happens to you, it’s a way of life.” 💛

REFLECTING | Here’s what my businesses; Euphony Brands and now SKINGLOW Africa — have been teaching me about me over these last few months…

Euphony Brands is in what I call the toddler phase 😫😭growing fast, full of energy, reaching new milestones every day. It’s exciting, but it’s also stretching me in ways I didn’t anticipate. And just like with toddlers, you can’t rush the stage, you can only learn and grow through the tears🤭

Here’s what I’ve been learning:

🌱 Systems grow with you: The systems that worked when it was just me don’t necessarily work with a team. Processes must evolve with human capital.

🌱 Managing your own team is different: It’s not the same as leading in a corporation. Trust, delegation, and patience are things I’m learning to build daily.

🌱 Cash flow is delicate: Scaling isn’t just theory. Sometimes one big payment in or out has a ripple effect that touches payroll and suppliers.

🌱 Black female founders need more grace : Unconscious biases are real: having to justify pricing, being labelled “harsh” when we’re assertive, or feedback not coming from a place of growth. We need to shift that.

🌱 Legacy building is different: When you build for legacy, integrity doesn’t end with you. It flows through your business, your team, your clients, and the impact you leave.

🌱 Everyone is a work in progress: Whether in life or in our careers, no one has it all figured out. We’re all still learning and growing.

And now… I’m also a proud mother of a new business: that I have been baking for a few years now. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. This next chapter is about growth, learning, and alignment.

‼️Lastly and this is very important entrepreneurship is often painted as glossy, but the truth is, it’s a refining process. It teaches you a lot about yourself , tests your faith in God.

Either way I’m grateful for both of my “babies” - Euphony Brands and SKINGLOW Africa; and I’m grateful for every lesson along the way💛

✍🏾MY REFLECTIONS | Ever since I made the decision to fully align with my purpose, something shifted within me. The journey hasn’t been perfect ; it’s been stretching, it’s been filled with loss - but it’s also been exhilarating.

Through it all, I’ve found so much joy and peace in simply becoming who God has called me to be.

Yes, I’ve changed my name. This is rebranding, this is becoming, this is obedience💫

If I can leave you with one prayer, it’s this: the best inner glow, the best outer glow, the true SKINGLOW - is living intentionally in who God designed you to be.

So lean into the secret place. Sit with the counsel of heaven. Ask God: What did You see when You thought of me? Who do You want me to be?

That is the secret to my glow. The is the cat is almost out of the bag now, and this is just the beginning of the next phase💛

WORK | The Power of Serving✨

I am so grateful for the seasons where I got to intern and do what many would call the “dirty work” - the tasks no one notices, but that build character. In serving, I learned humility.

As an entrepreneur, humility is everything. It teaches you to be hands-on, to accept correction, to grow, and to keep learning. Without it, business becomes about ego instead of purpose.

In this picture, I’m adjusting .zenamalinga chair - a small, practical moment that speaks volumes about how I choose to lead. As the founder of , I see every opportunity to serve my clients as an opportunity to connect, to build trust, and to remind myself that leadership is rooted in service.

Capital builds businesses, yes - but humility sustains them. And I believe it’s one of the most underrated soft skills in entrepreneurship today.

INFLUENCER EVENTS | Throwback to last week at the Lancôme Beauty Tech House 🖤

What an incredible experience! As someone who geeks out on science, I was fascinated by the innovation and technology behind Lancôme’s products. The highlight for me was learning about the new Rénergie C.R.x Triple Serum Retinol — a powerhouse with Pure Vitamin C, PureRetinol, and X-Peptide, all housed in those iconic three chambers👌🏾🔬

I can’t wait to share my full review soon; but for now, here’s a glimpse of the magic from the event.

THROWBACK | A year ago today, we were gathered in love for a beautiful gender reveal 💙 - and now, here we are, celebrating the sweetest gift, our vibrant busy baby boy!

Family is truly God’s greatest blessing. My heart is full of gratitude for the joy, love, and light this little one has brought into our lives, being an Aunty again is such a gift🕊️💛

Here’s to love, to family, and to watching him grow surrounded by so much care and laughter.
