Why most brunettes go brassy… and how to stop it.

This client came in with a level 6 copper-brown that kept returning every few weeks.
She also has ±40% grey, which usually causes a harsh regrowth line.

Instead of covering the grey and toning the warmth away, I used a grey-blending root technique and a custom chocolate gloss to:

✔ Neutralise copper without killing warmth
✔ Let the greys melt into the brown
✔ Create a brunette that looks expensive, not flat
✔ Make the grow-out soft and low maintenance

This is why some brunettes look muddy… and others look like this. 🤎
