After almost 30 years in the beauty industry, winning Beauty Salon of the Year 2026 is an incredible honour, but this weekend reminded me of something even bigger.

Success means so much more when you can share what you have learned.

For 30 years, I have studied skin, made mistakes, learned, grown, treated thousands of skins and never stopped searching for better results. And today, one of my greatest joys is being able to pass that knowledge and passion on to students, therapists and salon owners who will become the future of our industry.

We are more than beauty therapists.
We are educators. We are skin specialists. We build confidence. We touch lives. ❤️

And that is why introducing Geneo X and the Glo²Facial to South Africa means so much to me. I believe deeply in this technology and in giving therapists the tools, knowledge and confidence to deliver an extraordinary skin experience and visible results.

Meeting the beautiful young students, therapists and salon owners this weekend filled my heart. Seeing their excitement reminded me that the knowledge we gain is not meant to stop with us.

After some very challenging years, this weekend gave me renewed hope and reminded me why I have loved this industry for almost three decades.
