What inspired brown skin girl?

It wasn't even my first thought when my mother was diagnosed with Cancer and she lost all her hair because of Chemotherapy. That wasn't it because all I saw was how sick she was and how I couldn't do nothing about it. I cried my eyes out while she stayed strong for us. I was pretty weak right?

But the idea still wasn't there. So while my mom was recovering I had a mild stroke. Oh I looked awful. My entire right side's nerves were damaged. I couldn't close my right eye. I slept with a patch. I couldn't smile on my right side. I couldn't show true emotion. This eye would randomly be tearing up and I'd blame it on the stroke but in all honestly all I wanted to do was cry.

And everyday I looked in the mirror and my face just wasn't the same anymore. I mean we laughed about it but I was still hurt.

So I kept telling myself as long as our hair looks good in this house we can fight another day 😅
And we all decided to go on a natural journey and made home made products during lockdown and All I will say as long as we opened our eyes that day and could treat our hair. The world was a better place.

But that still didnt give me the idea.
The idea crossed our mind sitting in a room with my cousin just talking about hair and it dawned on us. If we can do this for us. Why not for others battling with their hair too.

I now strongly believe it was our hair growth remedy and faith in God to provide and protect us that brought us thus far 🙏
