There are only a few things better than DYNAMIC STRETCHING...well actually there aren’t hahaha
✅DYNAMIC STRETCHING is actually better than static stretches prior to a workout because the body moves naturally incorporating multiple joints & limbs as opposed to isolating a single muscle or muscle group at a time.
✅Dynamic stretches look a lot like yoga but you don’t pause in set positions, very rarely does that happen in dynamic stretching, you allow the body to REBOUND into its ‘natural’ state almost immediately once the desired stretch position has been reached and repeat as desired to signal for the brain to send blood to those areas which will be used soon.
✅Dynamic stretches also improve your ability to control your body especially focusing on CORE STABILITY because we never want the spine bending excessively in any position during a workout, it’s not just for warm ups but it’s a bit of a workout too!

I think we put the rock pools to pretty good use while they are empty at .jozi this past weekend.
Yesterday’s HIKE at .jozi was madness because we brought our JUNGLE GYM antics onto a hiking trail and left our footprint on THE WILDS.
We featured hill sprints which turned into a bit of an obstacle course using the currently empty rock pools🙌🏾
