Day 6 of my Road to 50 challenge.

My day started with a cup of coffee before settling in to work from home. I spent the morning working alongside my colleagues, catching up on tasks and making progress for the day.

Once work was done, it was time to switch from work mode to business mode. I packed a customer’s order, got everything ready, and then headed to town. My first stop was collecting my new business bank card, and after that, I went to PEP to send out the order.

And I have some exciting news… we’ve officially reached 15 bonnet sales! 🤍

That’s 15 out of 50, which means we have 35 more bonnets to go before the end of July.

Every order reminds me that this dream is growing one step at a time. Thank you to everyone who’s supporting my small business, sharing my journey, and cheering me on. Your support means more than you know.

Day 5 of my Road to 50 challenge.

My day started with a cup of coffee, and before I even left for work, I woke up to two new orders. Moments like these remind me that every small step counts, and I’m so grateful for every person who chooses to support my business.

The rest of my day was spent travelling to Flagstaff for fieldwork. Days like this remind me that building a business doesn’t happen in isolation. I’m balancing my career, my responsibilities, and my dream, one day at a time.

We’ve now reached 10 bonnets sold, which means we have 40 more to go before the end of July.

Day 4 of my Road to 50 challenge.

Today started with getting ready for work. One thing I’m learning through this challenge is that building a business doesn’t stop just because you have a full-time job or other responsibilities.

After work, it was time to switch hats and focus on my business. I headed to PEP to send out another customer’s order, and moments like these remind me why I started this journey.

We also received another order today, which means we’ve now sold 8 satin bonnets, leaving us with 42 more to go before we reach our goal of 50 by the end of July.

Day 3 of my Road to 50 challenge.

Sundays are usually my reset days. I started my morning with a cup of tea before getting ready for church. Taking this time to pause helps me prepare for the week ahead.

After church, I listened to a business podcast, and one thing the speaker said really stayed with me. She said, ‘Our pricing sometimes reflects our self-esteem.’

That really made me reflect on myself as a business owner. It reminded me not to price my products from a place of fear or self-doubt, but to confidently stand behind the value, quality, and effort that goes into every bonnet I make.
