The golden spice! “Turmeric”

Originated from Asia and widely used as a spice, Turmeric contains numerous benefits such as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. This makes it’s a good natural ingredient for a soap. However, a lot of people make mistakes when using the spice DIY cosmetic recipes.

Some Common MISTAKES when using turmeric include:
* Mixing it other ingredients which can cause chemical reactions and result in skin damage. Only mix with rose-water, milk and water
* Leaving it on for too long which can stain the skin.
* Some people may be allergic and develop itchiness, redness and blisters.

Though a natural product, turmeric doesn’t always guarantee effectiveness or safe of use for some skins. Please consult an expert before use.
