Today Nanji Glam parlour is a year old 🥰🥰🙏❤️All thanks to God and your support. Building a business from the ground up is not easy, especially as a young entrepreneur, but every challenge has shapes you .
As a young multiple business owner, here and some of lessons I have left throughout my entrepreneurship journey:
Be Prayerful – Not Everyone is Happy for You
-Always be Prayerful. I know most of us know this , but we neglect how powerful this is .
Success attracts both admiration and envy. You need understand that not everyone is happy about what you are doing, and some will go to great lengths—even spiritual—to bring you down. Always put God first. Without His guidance and protection, it’s easy to lose your way. There is power in prayer; it strengthens you against unseen battles and keeps your vision clear. Always remember life is spiritual.
-NEVER COMPETE .
Run Your Own Race—There is Space for Everyone
One of the biggest mistakes in business is constantly looking at what others are doing. focus on your journey, improving yourself rather than competing with anyone else. Some people are silently competing with you, bad-mouthing your business, and trying to discredit everything you do. But always remember—everyone carries their own grace. What is meant for you will be yours. The best competition you can have is with yourself—challenge yourself to be better every day.
-Do Not Trust Anyone Blindly in Business.
Business exposes the true nature of people. Some who appear as friends are actually your biggest enemies, disguised as supporters while gathering information to gossip about you or use against you. They will bad-mouth your business, and because they are close to you, people will believe them. be extremely careful about who you share information with. Not everyone who smiles at you has good intentions. Always trust actions more than words. Know who your people truly are and who truly has your back .
—Never Stop Looking for a Strong Team(Employees)
A great business is built on a great team, and that is why you should never compromise on behavior just to avoid what people will think or say about frequent employee changes, don’t be scared thinking of Names people will call you and assume you have a problem or a bad person because obviously your previous employees will not speak good of you and your business when they are asked why they are no longer part of your team. The right employees will uplift your business, but the wrong ones can be your biggest downfall. The people you employ are complete strangers, Many times, you only get to know a person’s true character with time—whether it’s theft, extreme lateness, rudeness, disrespect, or poor service. Do not to tolerate negative behavior, even if that employee is a close friend or relative. Letting go of the wrong people is necessary for growth. Always prioritize your business over emotions.
-Do Not Expect Support from Friends and Family
This is one of the hardest lessons, but an important one. We often expect that those closest to us would be our biggest supporters, but it’s often strangers who will support you more. Friends and relatives will only start cheering for you when you have already made it to the top. Don’t take it personal!just focus on your goals and keep going. When your success becomes undeniable, they will come around.
-Stay Resilient—Business is a Bumpy Road.
Every business has its ups and downs; there will be days of frustration, doubt, and exhaustion. But no matter how hard it gets, never give up. Setbacks are part of the journey. Success doesn’t come overnight, but with patience, consistency, and hard work, everything will fall into place. Always remind yourself why you started and keep pushing forward.
—Surround Yourself with Like-Minded People.
One of the best decisions I made was to connect with other business owners who share the same drive and vision. Being around people who understand the struggles and realities of business helps you stay motivated. Find mentors, network with people who inspire you, and always be willing to learn.
