*REFLECTION*
TOPIC: EVERYTHING THAT LOOKS LIKE EVIL IN YOUR LIFE, IS NOT REALLY EVIL...

Most of those things we call unfortunate in our own world because they go against what we prayed for or desired, aren't evil; they are deep expressions of God's love for you, but your impatience and hunger won't let you see it from God's own perspective; be patient. When God sees that you lack the stamina to face what you will find when you walk through that door that you call favour, into that room that you think will be your testimony, God locks the door so that your life won't be lost. Don't think that your prayer and fasting didn't work; it worked but God want you to walk into the right place at the right time. Sometimes, God's expression of mercy comes in the form of hiding you and keeping you from that which you see as breakthrough because God knows that when you get to that junction, frustration will break through you in ways you never imagined; just let God do it His way. When things don't happen the way you planned and prayed for, give thanks to God because He knows what He is doing... It is not everything that happens in your life that resembles evil, that is actually evil...

Soon, you will look back and thank God for failing in that visa interview. Yes, that failed job interview can be God's favour, but you don't see it that way. That transfer, termination of appointment or sickness can still work for your favor; trust Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Don't let your desperateness make you blind to what God is doing in your life. See, if God granted all your prayer points, your life would have being pointless by now; be patient with God. Don't interpret every delay as God's weakness and failure; God is not a man. Don't see everything that happens in your life as evil; most times, God is working for you in ways you don't know... May God's will be done in our lives, even though it will not be pleasurable, sweet and tantalizing sometimes... Amen!

TODAY'S REFLECTION
TOPIC: IS BLOOD STILL THICKER THAN WATER?

Haven't you observed that these days, strangers help people more than their blood relatives and even family? Haven't you observed that only the wealthy and successful ones are considered wise, useful and valuable in the family circle? These days, water has become thicker than blood because sometimes, a man you don't know will help you more than the man with whom you shared the same womb. Gone are the days family members gathered to seek for ways to help that brother who is not meeting up; these days, they gather to discuss, ridicule and ostracize him. Gone are the days when siblings stood up and fought for their blood, these days, they fight each other because of competition to be the best. Gone are the days when we sit on the table of brotherhood and there, we share the small piece of land that our father left for us; these days, we fight and kill each other so that only the survivor will take possession of the entire land. Those days, the cries of one member will make others abandon the very ball of nshima in their mouth, because when one of us cries, all of us cry... Those days, blood was thicker than water; these days, envy and jealousy has made water become thicker than blood.

Gone are the days we fought for our families; these days, we fight with out families. Back in the days, sons and daughters took good care of their parents and carry their faces even as they clean their urine until the very day they died; in my days, we don't even care to enter the room where those people who loved, carried and sacrificed for us are lying in sickness, because for us, the place is nauseating and filled with bad odour. In the past, blood carried blood, but in my days, blood carries strangers even as his blood is abandoned to die. Don't forget that I'm not against helping strangers; but what I'm saying is that the charity that doesn't start at home is simply eye service. In the past, blood was the pride and glory of his fellow blood, but in my days, blood will bury charms and even give poison as food to his own blood... We are living in dangerous times. Amongst us Christians, the love of power has wiped out the power of love; so a pagan can help you in ways that your fellow christian brother can't. The plague of Cain upon us, so we enjoy killing our own. Today I wish to ask, "when will blood be thicker than water again?"

TOPIC: PLEASE LET THEM GO...

Most of our problems stem from not letting people go when they actually want to go. See, I have learnt to stop chasing people who are walking away; yes, I tried, I explained, I prayed and I wished, but for them, I sounded like a broken record; so be it. If people insist on walking away from that friendship you both shared in this ship of life, please do your best to keep them; but if your best efforts are met with great resistance and refusal, please let them go. When they come up with conditions that would make you lose your worth and value, please just let them go. When they want it only in their way, please don't obstruct the way; let them go. If they have concluded that you will die when they leave, please tell them that there is God and that they are not God; let them go. Yes, in my life, I worked hard to keep some friends whom I treasured and cherished so much; yes, I gave it my all, made so many sacrifices, respected their plenty rules and even listened as they turned everything and every move I made against me; however I got to a point where I had to let them go. I have peace now, not because I never loved them as friends, but because I let them leave when God wanted them to leave my life.

Sometimes, holding on will hurt you more than letting them go; please let them walk away if that is all they want. Stop grieving about who walked away; God will bring the right persons at the right time. Stop mourning about who didn't make it this far with you; yes, they might have taken a walk because they are in better conditions now, and because they have concluded that you won't survive without them, but don't lose heart... Sometimes, God allows them to take a walk so that He can work on you in ways that will make you grow and glow; let them go. Remember that Judas had to walk away for the prophecies of old to be fulfilled. Stop grieving that they left; God doesn't need anything that you lost to bless you. When they leave, God will give you a new leaf; trust Him and stop grieving... Let them go; e get why!

Winners embrace hard work. They love the discipline of it, the trade-off they're making to win. Losers, on the other hand, see it as punishment. And that's the difference

A guy came from America and told his village mother that he want to take her out, the mother was very happy to hear this. So the son took her to one of the best restaurant in Lusaka.. when they got there, he ordered fried rice and chicken. When the waiter brought the food the mother shouted, yeah I love this food. Everyone in the restaurant were laughing at the guy and the mother,so the guy told her not to shout, that she should keep it to herself. They gave them spoon to eat the guy was using the spoon while the mother was using her hand, everybody were laughing. Instead of the guy to be angry he just smile and taught his mother how to use the spoon. They brought bottle water for them and the mother was using stroke. The guy smile and told her not to use stroke. When they are about to leave, one man went to the guy and said why didn't you get angry when she was embarrassing you?, The guy replied and said when I was a kid she taught me All I need to know. If she ask me to read 123 to ten,I will say 1,3,5,6,7,8,10, she never felt embarrassed, instead she will correct me. Now that she's old do you want me to let her down???
NOW IF YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY FOR YOUR MOTHER, just type MOM I will never let you down
And if she's no more type RIP MOM ๐Ÿ’”

Am crucified with Christ: nethertheless i live; yet not i , but Christ live with in me: and the life which i know live in the fresh i live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me.
From: Galatians 2:20

Inspiration
Because of what Christ did, we can confidently stand and say that we are in him and he is in us. Though we live in our earthly bodies, our spirit has been regenerated. We have been redeemed. We have a glorious future ahead of us, and it is by faith we believe this and continue to live out the will of God for our lives. We live a life of faith now, of total trust in our savior, Jesus Christ, who never stopped loving us and never will.

Prayer ๐Ÿ™
Dear God, our heavenly father, i just want to say thank you for your endless love. You have been there for me far before i knew about you or even thought of coming to you. I will forever thank you for the precious love, where you gave up your son so that i can be part of you again. Jesus, my savior, thank you for what you did for me and for everyone else on this earth ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒŽ. Thank you for this beautiful life i know have in you, Lord. In Jesus' name i pray ๐Ÿ™. Amen.
