When we said buy blocks we did not realize that you would take it personal.

K12 per block 6”

On average you need 600 blocks per room of 4m by 5m

You need 1,500 blocks per two bedroom house with a kitchen and a toilet.

You need 2,500 blocks for a three bedrooms house with a living room and kitchen. You may need another three hundred for beam filling.

These are estimates. Please consult.

Do not use 4” blocks for building. We only us 4” for special partitions or for unimportant buildings like chicken houses etc. We recommend 6” blocks. 8” blocks are for commercial buildings or for foundation only.

Remember the block size you start with above foundation is the one you finish with at beam filling.

A large house of 20m by 9m can take as many as 1,000 blocks at foundation stage only. The larger the house the more the blocks.
