Signs Your Scalp Needs Help
🌿 1. Excessive Hair Shedding
More hair than usual on your comb, pillow, or shower drain.
🌿 2. Persistent Itching
Frequent itching may indicate dryness, irritation, or product buildup.
🌿 3. Dry, Flaky Scalp
White flakes, tightness, or a rough scalp texture can signal a lack of moisture.
🌿 4. Oily Scalp Soon After Washing
Excess oil production may be a sign that your scalp's natural balance is disrupted.
🌿 5. Slow Hair Growth
A stressed or unhealthy scalp can affect the hair growth cycle.
🌿 6. Thinning Hair
Hair appears less dense or lacks its usual fullness.
🌿 7. Redness or Sensitivity
Irritation, tenderness, or inflammation may indicate scalp damage.
🌿 8. Dull, Lifeless Hair
Healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. Lack of shine can be linked to scalp issues.
🌿 9. Product Build-Up
Hair feels heavy, greasy, or difficult to manage even after washing.
🌿 10. Breakage and Weak Strands
Hair snaps easily, feels fragile, or struggles to retain length.

HAIR CARE IN COLD WEATHER.
For the hair care in cold weather 🥶 — cold air + low humidity strips moisture fast, so the goal is lock in hydration and protect from breakage:
*1. Moisture is king*
- Switch to a hydrating shampoo and follow with a rich conditioner every wash.
- Deep condition 1x per week. Look for shea butter, argan oil, or glycerin in the ingredients.
- Leave-in conditioner + a light oil like jojoba or almond on the ends daily to seal moisture.
*2. Protect it from the cold*
- Wear a satin or silk lined hat/beanie. Regular wool/cotton pulls moisture and causes frizz + breakage.
- Braid, twist, or bun your hair when you’re outside to reduce exposure and tangling.
*3. Wash smarter*
- Don’t over-wash. 1-2x per week is enough in cold season. Over-washing = dry scalp.
- Use lukewarm water, not hot. Hot water dries hair and scalp out faster.
*4. Scalp care*
- Cold weather can make scalps flaky. Massage with a bit of tea tree or peppermint oil mixed into your carrier oil 1x per week to keep circulation and flakes down.
