In Singleness, remember these lessons in 2025‼️

1. Singleness is a sacred season of becoming.
Singleness is not a void; it is a sacred space where transformation begins. Singleness isn’t about waiting for someone to arrive—it’s about becoming the person you were meant to be.

2. Wholeness is found within, not without.
The narrative that another person will complete you is a myth that you need laid to rest. The journey to wholeness begins and ends within you.

3. True fulfillment comes from embracing the entirety of who you are —the parts you celebrate and the parts you ’ve struggled to accept.

4. Solitude is a mirror to the soul. You don't need to have a "squad" all the time. In the stillness of solitude, you will find reflections you cannot see and find in the noise of companionship.
Solitude reveals your fears, your dreams, and your resilience.

5. Love Begins With Self-Love.
Realize that the way you treat yourself sets the tone for every relationship you will have.
People will treat you how you treat yourself.

6. Self-love isn’t indulgent; it’s foundational. It’s in the boundaries you set, the kindness you show yourself in failure, and the discipline you practice in pursuit of your goals. To be truly known by another, you must first know yourself.

7. Singleness is freedom to create.
Singleness is a canvas, unmarked by the compromises of shared life. It is freedom in its purest form—the freedom to explore, to dream, and to create a life that reflects your truest self. Freedom is not something to be lamented but celebrated.

8. Patience is Active, Not Passive.
In singleness, patience isn’t about idly waiting; it’s about active preparation. It’s about becoming the person who can give and receive love freely, without the weight of past wounds or unmet expectations.

9. Community fills what romantic love cannot.
While singleness may lack romantic love, it is filled with the love of friends, family, and community. Leverage on the accountability they provide.

10. Connections don't have to look like romance to be meaningful. Do not romanticize the journey.
The warmth of shared laughter, the support of those who truly see you, and the joy of giving love freely are all sources of fulfillment that rival any romantic relationship.

11. Strive to be known, that's the depth of stable marriages. Not just having S*X.
S*X does NOT make you known, it makes you available and cheap.

12. Joy is a Choice, not a circumstance.
Joy doesn’t wait for the “right” relationship or the “perfect” moment—it’s a choice you make every day. Joy is not something you seek; it’s something you carry within.

13. Letting Go is a Path to Peace.
Letting go of societal expectations, self-imposed timelines, and the fear of being alone allows you to breathe deeply, and find peace.
Release the weight of what “should be” and embraced what is.

14. Trust the Lord with your dating life. Trust Him that He is unfolding it exactly as it’s meant to.
In His own time and in His own way.

15. Strive to look good and presentable. It reveals your soul.

16. Don't just work on your curb appeal, work on your character‼️

17. Celebrate the journey of others. Hating is definitely draining and it kills your joy. You cannot attract what you don't respect.

18. Singleness is not less; It is Full and Complete. Singleness is not a prelude or an intermission; it is a symphony of its own beauty, depth, and meaning.

We carry on. . .

Who are you placing your trust in?
(Isaiah 40:31)
But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.

I think our caterpillar phases are so uncomfortable on purpose… so that we know we're not meant to stay in them.
There is that relentless ache for something more so that we just can't give up until we grow our wings.

Never thought about this before:

I have always thought that Noah was safe inside the Ark because he built it according to God's specifications. I thought that perhaps it was the strength of the gopher wood and the soundness of the architecture that ensured that the waters of the flood would not come into the Ark.

But today I encountered a verse that shifted this whole paradigm. Let's read what Gen 7:16 says ... "The animals going in were male and female of every living thing as God had commanded Noah... THEN GOD SHUT HIM IN....

Don't miss this.... even after Noah had built the Ark, it was God Himself who shut him in, in order to shut out the waters of the flood... In other translations this verse says "The Lord sealed them inside."

It is not the fact that you have locked your house that keeps you safe at night, it is not your good driving skills that keeps you safe on the road, neither it's your healthy eating habits that keeps you healthy - only God can shut you in and shut out the devil that is seeking to devour you.

Sometimes, you have to start all over again, and that's ok
The season of manifestation and possession is guaranteed to those who never give up.
