OSTEOARTHRITIS
It is the break down of cartilage on your joints hence causing friction on them and resulting in to pain.
CAUSES
•Obesity
•Heredity
•Injury
•joint overuse
•some diseases may trigger it
SYMPTOMS
•pain after overuse or a long period of inactivity
•Stiffness after periods of rest
•bony enlargement in the middle or end joints of the fingers(may be painful or not)
•joint swelling
•joint aching and soreness especially with movement
TREATMENT
•Anti-inflammatory drugs
•physiotherapy
