I love the way her hair is coming along..We have avoided tight braids on her for quite some time now..simple cute hairstyke and she's ready for school tomorrow..

Didn't use any thread or extension to braid her hair..

Just hair no extension added.This little angel is only a few days away from turning 3..was really impressed with how her hair is being taken care of by her mum..picture her hair in her 5th year..I can guarantee u that this hair will be the talk of the town :)

Please have a chat with us before signing up your little girls to get full information of what we are trying to achieve at kinks and curls..We are not yet fully operational but we do take appointments for the time being..

We are totally against tight braiding which happens to be a way to get that sleek neat look for most of our hair types.remember that we also against too much heat..For this little girl I asked the mother to wash, condition and thread her hair as a way of stretching it without the use of heat which she did..For those of you who can't do that u can always schedule an appointment a day or two day before braiding day and we will do that for you especially those who live around the area..

We have moved away from the normal braiding techniques that only damage our hair..depending on what type if hair your girl has, braids and simple puffs will have to be redone every week or after 2 weeks so that u make room for wash day when we can deep condition the hair and do some natural treatments especially for kids who are transitioning or are simply starting all over again

-Please avoid over blowing your child's hair for heat does nothing but damage it
-if her hair is in a bad state right now do not make it worse by letting her wear tight braids.let her wear very simply hairstyles that can be redone every week
-avoid the use of grease for most grease hair products have substances that dry out hair leaving it looking weak and brittle..get her some natural oils like avocado, castor, coconut oil etc
-never try to detangle her hair while it's stil dry..It will only break more and it is always painful..I like to use conditioner then prepoo
-whenever u see a tight knot, undo it immediately or try to loosen it using a comb or a hot wet towel
