Where do you need God to give you wisdom today? β€œFor the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” β€”Proverbs 2:8 NIV

James 5:16 doesn't negotiate with our comfort. It states a sequence and leaves us exposed. 'Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed.' Confession is not optional, it's the entry point.

Most suffering today isn't medical, it's relational and psychological. People are sick because they are isolated inside secrets. Addiction grows in silence. Depression thrives in secret. Conflict worsens when it's unnamed. Confession dismantles isolation by dragging truth into shared reality. Only then does prayer have traction. Healing doesn't start with denial or image management. It starts the moment you risk being known.

We cannot care for those we refuse to notice. Around us, there are so many living at the mercy of other people. They’re unseen. Unnoticed. Forgotten. May we see these people as Jesus sees them. May we have the heart moved by compassion when we see people with unmet needs, and may that compassion lead us to act.

RETURN TO GOD.

Isaiah 30:15
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: β€œIn returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” But you would not,

Isaiah reminds us that God’s power is not found in rushing ahead or relying on human solutions, but in returning to Him. May the Sabbath day help us to slow down, return to God and find our strength in trusting Him completely

HAPPY SABBATH.

During storms, tall trees survive not because of their height, but because of their deep roots. While the wind rages above the ground, stability is found below the surface. What cannot be seen determines what will stand.

The prophet Jeremiah spoke to a nation facing instability, fear, and looming judgment. In that uncertain time, he contrasted two ways of life and wrote, β€œπ΅π‘™π‘’π‘ π‘ π‘’π‘‘ 𝑖𝑠 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘šπ‘Žπ‘› π‘‘β„Žπ‘Žπ‘‘ π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘‘π‘’π‘‘β„Ž 𝑖𝑛 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ πΏπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘‘, π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘€β„Žπ‘œπ‘ π‘’ β„Žπ‘œπ‘π‘’ π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ πΏπ‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘‘ 𝑖𝑠. πΉπ‘œπ‘Ÿ β„Žπ‘’ π‘ β„Žπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™ 𝑏𝑒 π‘Žπ‘  π‘Ž π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’ π‘π‘™π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘π‘’π‘‘ 𝑏𝑦 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘€π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘ , π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘‘β„Žπ‘Žπ‘‘ π‘ π‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘Žπ‘‘π‘’π‘‘β„Ž π‘œπ‘’π‘‘ β„Žπ‘’π‘Ÿ π‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘œπ‘‘π‘  𝑏𝑦 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘Ÿπ‘–π‘£π‘’π‘Ÿ, π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘ β„Žπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™ π‘›π‘œπ‘‘ 𝑠𝑒𝑒 π‘€β„Žπ‘’π‘› β„Žπ‘’π‘Žπ‘‘ π‘π‘œπ‘šπ‘’π‘‘β„Ž, 𝑏𝑒𝑑 β„Žπ‘’π‘Ÿ π‘™π‘’π‘Žπ‘“ π‘ β„Žπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™ 𝑏𝑒 π‘”π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘’π‘›; π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘ β„Žπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™ π‘›π‘œπ‘‘ 𝑏𝑒 π‘π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘’π‘“π‘’π‘™ 𝑖𝑛 π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ π‘¦π‘’π‘Žπ‘Ÿ π‘œπ‘“ π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘’π‘”β„Žπ‘‘, π‘›π‘’π‘–π‘‘β„Žπ‘’π‘Ÿ π‘ β„Žπ‘Žπ‘™π‘™ π‘π‘’π‘Žπ‘ π‘’ π‘“π‘Ÿπ‘œπ‘š 𝑦𝑖𝑒𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 π‘“π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘–π‘‘β€ (π½π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘šπ‘–π‘Žβ„Ž 17:7–8).

Trust in the Lord is not the absence of trouble; it is confidence in God’s presence within trouble. Jeremiah’s imagery emphasizes consistency. The tree does not escape heat or drought, but it remains fruitful. Trust anchors the believer to a source beyond visible resources. While others panic in times of crisis, those who trust God remain calm, nourished by an unseen supply.

Ellen G. White writes, β€œπ‘‡β„Žπ‘œπ‘ π‘’ π‘€β„Žπ‘œ π‘šπ‘Žπ‘˜π‘’ πΊπ‘œπ‘‘ π‘‘β„Žπ‘’π‘–π‘Ÿ π‘‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘‘ 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑑 π»π‘–π‘š π‘Ž π‘π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘’π‘›π‘‘ β„Žπ‘’π‘™π‘ 𝑖𝑛 π‘’π‘£π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘¦ π‘‘π‘–π‘šπ‘’ π‘œπ‘“ 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑” (π‘‡π‘’π‘ π‘‘π‘–π‘šπ‘œπ‘›π‘–π‘’π‘  π‘“π‘œπ‘Ÿ π‘‘β„Žπ‘’ πΆβ„Žπ‘’π‘Ÿπ‘β„Ž, π‘£π‘œπ‘™. 5, 𝑝. 427). Trust transforms anxiety into assurance and fear into quiet strength.

The practical lesson is timely and personal. In seasons of pressure, uncertainty, or loss, examine where your confidence rests. Trusting God means relying on His character, not merely His gifts. Stay rooted in prayer, Scripture, and obedience. When storms come, and they will, a life grounded in trust will remain fruitful, steady, and unshaken.

Guilt weighs our lives down. We can't truly be happy when we are burdened by guilt - when God wants us to have an abundant life.

Today, let's give God our guilt - lay down the shame, the regrets, and the quiet heaviness we've been holding onto. Jesus came to forgive, restore and set us free.

Good Morning πŸŒ„

Words have the power to wound or to heal. We’ve all been hurt by wordsβ€”and we’ve hurt others with our words too. On our own, taming the tongue isn’t easy.

Today more than ever, the world needs kind and courteous Christiansβ€”online and offline.

Let’s surrender our words to Jesus.
May every word pass through the filter of God’s wisdom and grace.

Good Morning πŸŒ„

It’s easy to feel ordinary when we compare ourselves to othersβ€”but God made each of us uniquely. Every skill and ability we have is entrusted to us for a purpose. Today, let’s place our talents in the hands of the Master and allow Him to use them for His glory and for the good of others. God is less concerned with how much talent we have and more concerned with how faithful we are with what He has given us.
