ABOUT SELF LEARNING/SELF TAUGHT

This morning, she just reminded me of how much I've improved in my wig making business.

I made this unit for her when I was just starting my business some 2 years ago. I had nothing, no peio experience whatsoever. Just a lot of curiosity and determination.

I didn't have anyone to ask every time I got stuck because I didn't have enough money to pay someone to teach and guide me. All self learning.

This unit wasn't neatly cut. This morning, when I was cleaning it, i was like, "Am I the one who cut this wig?"

She quickly said, "Yes, apa ninshi tamulapya sana."

I was embarrassed at the work I did, but at the same time, I was excited to see how much improvement there has been. The improvement took time, though.

Going forward, I will only do self learning if i can't afford to pay someone to teach me. Even still, I would rather save the money and get someone well knowledgeable to teach me step by step, brick by brick till I master it in a short time.

Self learning is a good place to start from, but once you are able to afford to pay someone to teach you, please do so and avoid wasting your time gropping in the dark alone. It serves you time, energy, and money.

The amount of time and money you'll waste in figuring it out all alone will make you lose out some life changing opportunities as compared to someone who paid and got it figured out in just one week.

Pay for that class, buy that course, go to school and improve yourself. You don't have eternity to keep crawling and gropping to your desired destination.
