Does luxuh hair shed?
Hi ladies, we want to take the time to answer another frequently asked question today.
Q: Does luxuh hair shed?
A: The quick answer is yes… but not like other hair. The truth of the matter is all hair sheds. I have never owned hair that did not have some shedding from time to time.
As our clients would attest, however, luxuh hair has very very minimal shedding. This is because all our bundles are double wefted and reinforced with a special glue. You may get 1 or 2 strands when brushing here and there but never more, and certainly never clumps.
We have made some videos in the past showing that the hair really does not shed in its original bundle form. The biggest factor that will influence shedding once the hair is styled is the stylist you choose. It’s important than your stylist only cuts the weft when absolutely necessary. As much as possible, the stylist should sew a whole bundle into the wig/ weave without cutting. This is because cutting weakens the integrity of the hair weft. Where the bundle is cut, it is imperative to seal the cut areas with hair glue or other suitable glues.

Here’s a close up of our French lace closures in Bodywave. As we’ve mentioned before the French lace is a softer and slightly thinner lace than the transparent. It comes in a beautiful light caramel shade which makes it easier to tint and blend for all skin tones!
