Hair Joy by Jenny

One of my local artist clients recently asked if she could display a few of her pieces in my salon suite and I said “of course, girl!” Well this week at her appointment, Ericka Bennett came with these adorable little paintings in hand. They’re now temporarily residing on top of my fireplace until someone decides they want to take them home for good. I’m so grateful for all of my amazing clients who support my dreams and I’m always ready to support theirs🫶

This girly was definitly doing her hair toss as she left the salon today. She was literally doing a little dance and giggling while I was blow drying her. She’d never had blonde hair before and was SO excited. We think she looks absolutely stunning!

This photo looks a little different than my usual hair shots and honestly, I kind of love it. 🤍

Callie was cozied up in my papasan chair, fully relaxed, instead of doing the typical “hair photo” pose. I was actually rushing to get out the door to the pharmacy and had decided I wasn’t even going to take pictures of her grey blending results… but then I looked over, saw her sitting there, and was struck by how beautiful she looked in that moment. I had to grab a quick photo.

Her hair is transforming so gracefully into the most gorgeous grey blend. Soft, dimensional, and perfectly her. Watching this transition has been such a joy.

And beyond the hair, Callie is truly one of the kindest, most gentle souls to ever sit in my chair. The kind of client who brings calm energy with her and makes the whole space feel lighter. I’m so grateful for moments like these and for clients like her. ✨

Short hair really must be in the air ✂️✨ because lately I’ve had so many clients ready for a big chop and I am loving every single one.

Melody came in ready for that fresh, short-hair feeling, and she absolutely rocked it. She is such a wonderful client to have in my chair—so kind, calming, and full of peaceful energy. Time with her always feels easy and grounding, and that makes creating a look she loves even more special.

Had a blast giving this sweet girl her inspo hair this afternoon. We’re obsessed.

We were missing Mary today as she was on an emergency (first meeting in 2 years where one of us hadn’t been able to make it). See this day in our month is one we set as priority for eachother. Our monthly meetings are where we goal set. We get to look into eachother businesses and learn more about each others dreams behind the chair. This is our time to reconnect when our busy lives pull us in every direction. Sometimes we have BIG goals and some just trying to maintain. Whatever the case maybe, we walk eachother through so we don’t feel alone in this journey in the hair world. We love our monthly girl date!
