Ethnic Hair Care

EVENT GUIDELINES

HAIR
• All hair must be washed and brushed out for any and all hair services (this is for sanitation and health purposes)
• The child(ren) must be in line for all hair services
• ABSOLUTLY no cutting or place holding in lines (all parties will be sent to the back of the line)
• We won’t be accepting any hair services after 2pm

FOOD & BEVERAGES
• One food ticket per person for one food vendor
• No food or beverages inside the facility (WATER ONLY)

GENERAL
• All backpacks and hair services are for Kindergarten- 12th grade ONLY
• Adults need to have children present to get backpacks
• There’s a ZERO profanity tolerance
• One raffle ticket per child with a backpack
• Once everything has been completed inside, PLEASE EXIT THE BUILDING
• There will be food, beverages, and outside activities to enjoy
• No re-entry once you exit

We are officially three weeks away from the first day of school, and we are excited to celebrate the 6th Annual We Got Your Back Back-to-School Event on Sunday, August 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (location to be announced).

Important Volunteer Updates:

• There will be no youth volunteers during the event itself. Youth (Jr High & High School students) are welcome to assist with event setup and teardown ONLY for community service hours.
• The ONLY exception to youth volunteers (ages 13-17 only) is if they are attending with an adult volunteer. One youth per one adult.
• Volunteer opportunities are limited to 30 positions ONLY this year and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
