One of the things we’ve heard most from parents is that there simply aren’t enough age-appropriate activities for kids and teens while they’re waiting in the Emergency Room during a mental health crisis.

The wait can be hours. Sometimes even days.

No activity can take away what they’re going through, but a coloring book, a deck of cards, a puzzle, or a sensory fidget can provide a moment of distraction, comfort, and calm during an incredibly difficult time.

That’s why we are launching a donation drive to help stock our local ER with approved activities for patients of all ages on the behavioral health side.

Because safety is the top priority, only specific items can be accepted. Please take a look at the flyer before donating.

Every item donated is a reminder that our community cares. 💜
