Sometimes a cover up is possible, but brows need to be SIGNIFICANTLY faded (we’re talking barely know it’s there faded!) first. ✨ Shaded combo brows are still microblading and shading like we love, but with the microbladed hair strokes focused on the front and gentle shading through the body and tail (more hairstrokes can be done than pictured, that was just how this client preferred hers)! This style is ideal for anyone who wants more definition, or for those with oilier skin (shading won’t blur on oily skin like microblading) and for those with mature or sensitive skin (typically age 50+ skin has thinned with age, making it more prone to blown out microblading, not cute!) The tail of your brow is the thinnest part, and shading gives the most predictable and even fade over time, lasting longer than the classic combo even!

Which brow style is best for YOU? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Microblading ✨ A soft natural look, made of fine hairstrokes. However, this style is really only ideal for young, dry/normal skin types, and may fade more patchy and require more touch ups. Microblading on oily skin will heal blurry or fade prematurely due to the excess oil in the skin, and is too harsh for more mature skin thinned by age.

Powder / Microshading ✨ a soft powdery finish once healed, this style is ideal for oily skin types and the most gentle method for thin or sensitive skin. It also fades the most uniformly and required the least amount of touch ups.

Combo ✨ the best of both worlds and my most popular method! A combination of microblading and powder, both hairstrokes (sometimes only in the front for mature or oily skin!) and powder, this style gives the natural look of strokes with the longevity of powder. Beautiful and natural outcome with microblading only! This style will have a slight price increase for the first initial session beginning July 1, so if you’d like to take advantage of the current rate make sure to book before then! My books are open into September currently! 🙌🏻

General Healing Timeline ✨

✨Days 2-4: Your eyebrows will appear darker and thicker. DO NOT PANIC! Brows will fade and soften during the healing process!!

✨Days 5-7: Your brows may begin to flake a bit. It is very, very, VERY important to not pick!! If you pick, you run the risk of scarring as well as picking your hair strokes right off! Your brows may itch as they heal, this is completely normal! Resist the urge to scratch!

✨Days 8-10: As your skin heals over your incisions, your hair strokes may appear SIGNIFICANTLY lighter, as if they have come completely off! If you've followed your aftercare, this is most likely not the case! It is a normal part of the healing process.

✨Days 14-28: Brows will appear to peek back through, potentially slightly patchy and with some places that require touching up, which is why we have a 6 week perfecting touch up!

✨After Touch Up: Your brows will be perfect once more, and the healing process will be much less than the original session. Enjoy your new gorgeous brows!

Combo brows on sensitive skin. I would have normally done more shading on the first session, but your skin’s health and integrity is priority number one, so if it becomes too angry and inflamed, sometimes it’s best to build more at touch up! 💃❤️
